I started bringing the accordion to family parties early on, so I could play along with the songs and a little dancing afterwards. It must have gone very well, because now other guests from the parties started wanting me to play at theirs too. It spread like wildfire, and gradually it became not unusual for me to play for strangers I didn’t even know. And then I was off and running.

About Maria Elisabeth Franzén

Maria plays the harp improvisationally for meditation services, at hospices and at nursing homes. Since 2023 she has been taking an organist course at the Zealand Church Music School and works currently as a singer and/or organist in Den Danske Folkekirken.

Maria’s creativity is wired through her personality, which led her to the wonderful path of arts and music. Making art using her hands is her form for meditation, while playing music is what she invests her time to. In some evenings when she could not sleep, she plays and practice using the instruments. It gives her calmness.

My name is Hjalte, and I am a 17-year-old guitarist. I love music and have been playing guitar for almost 10 years. Last year I went to Vesterdal Efterskole, where I played in many concerts, including at the Vesterdal Festival and musicals at Baltoppen. Now I’m studying at Sankt Annæ Gymnasium for music.

Anette’s famous songs are Crazy in Love, Heartbeat, Colorado, and Summer Night. She discovered her passion for writing songs for music at an early age. She pursued her education and career as a musician and a music teacher for children and young people. Today, she performs at cafés and different events all year round. Together with Michael Eigtved as the pianist and Jens Lauritzen on bass, they bring a lively atmosphere to their audience.
